Terms and Conditions

All products are sold subject to the terms and conditions set out below:

DEPOSIT

We require 50% deposit to be paid on all items of furniture at the time of order. The balance to be paid prior to delivery.
(NB: Payments made by personal cheque should be received at least 10 days prior to delivery)

This deposit represents part payment for the goods. If the order is cancelled by you, Newtons shall be entitled to retain the deposit to the extent of their reasonable losses and expenses suffered as result of the cancellation. If for any reason you wish to cancel your furniture order within 7 days of the order date your deposit will be refunded in full.

DELIVERY

Deliveries are undertaken by an independent distribution agent who will contact you direct to arrange delivery times. Delivery is normally within 12-16 weeks, but times may vary for special commissions.
Delivery charge is per address anywhere on the mainland UK.

DESIGN AND FINISH

Our furniture is not manufactured using mass production methods, but is 'hand made' and intricately carved by highly skilled craftsmen practicing time honoured traditional methods. Each piece then stained or painted by hand before a protective finish is applied ensuring that each piece is individual and unique to you.
Every effort is made to ensure that all items of furniture correspond as closely as possible to the samples shown in our brochure or on our website, but they might not be exactly the same.
Fabrics will inevitably vary in shade from one batch to another.
As all our furniture is hand finished some variations will occur from piece to piece and this is a unique design feature not a fault.

DIMENSIONS

As our furniture is 'hand made' actual dimensions may vary from those stated in our brochure or on our website. Please note that the internal dimensions of our beds are slightly larger than standard mattress sizes, to allow space for bed linen. All dimensions stated are the maximum external dimensions of the stated piece.
